Mace and Nutmeg are two spices from the same fruit. Nutmeg is the kernel inside the seed, whereas mace is the red threadlike covering on the seed. The flavor of Nutmace is very similar to that of nutmeg, with a slight flavour like pepper. Nutmace is also called as Javitri in Hindi.
